Flimsy Sanity: A Couple Observations

A Couple Observations

The cliched depiction of a crazy person is a guy carrying a sign saying "The End is Near". What does that say about the 2012 crowd?

I am still looking for a pit bull owner who is carrying a poop bag. Now that would be a miracle.

All insurance is socialistic.

I think I'll get myself a sandwich board sign.

It's true that owners often mirror their dogs. Owners of the aggression-bred Pit Bull are no exception.

Insurance can equally be capitalistic. It is merely a purchasable product. Its function: to provide peace of mind.

RC: Insurance is supposed to be a collective pool to protect everyone in theory. It is capitalistic in practice because health insurance is only available to healthy people and the government has to provide flood insurance (which should come with homeowners insurance) and medicare for the risky ones. I don't know why all the government program haters don't move to Somalia - no environmentalist agencies to prevent toxic dumping (I heard that is reason the pirates give to rationalize their activity) and no government to bother all the cowboys.

I have a economic suggestion that would make more money than killing unions. Why not place a sales tax on investments? Won't hurt the long term investor and slow down the speculators that are driving up our prices for food and oil.
