Two Noah's

What makes more sense, that God told Noah the First to gather up all the birds, beasts, insects, plants etc. and then sail (actually pictured with no power source) around distributing the kangaroo to Australia and the buffalo to North America, or that Noah Webster was inspired (obsessed) to gather all the words, figure out where they started from and how to pronounce them? I'll have to check how the dictionary came about. Seems almost impossible for one human. What do you do, write a word down every time you hear a new one? Keep them on notecards and continually alphabetize them. I hold the dictionary in awe.
