People remember Sagan primarily for popularizing astronomy, but i remember being deeply affected by his postulations on neural development, and i still quote from his 'Dragons of Eden', even today, when discussing humankind's history of intelligence.

It is a sad indictment of our society that Carl Sagan is missed so little by so many. I agree 100% with Anan's assessment of the man.
