The Abortion Question

Found via Omnipotent Poobah's comment section.

I feel every child should be a wanted child. Call me simple but it is clear to me. Please please, if you love children, volunteer to be a foster parent. The need is great for homes for abused, neglected and unwanted children.

Definitely a good idea if you have the strength for it.

Probably won't happen for the same reason people want a puppy rather than a dog from the pound.

I didn't feel the need to comment on this, but "anonymous" makes an excellent analogy.

It really upsets me that this decision is being made by a supreme court of men when this is a women's issue. They can't possibly know what it feels like to have to make this kind of decsion. I don't know if you've heard me say it before, but my husband and I have a standing agreement that if abortion becomes illegal or they institute a draft, we will flee the country. There are some things that you have to get away from if you can, and with all the other problems I have with America right now, that would most likely be the straw that broke th camel's back. Although someone suggested on my blog that all of my problems would be solved if I would just believe in Jesus.

United We Lay:I just think all the people up on their soapbox about how wrong abortion is should step up and take care of the half-grown children already here. It is babies they love, not actually children who are already damaged by parents who irresponsibly produced them. In the world of right and wrong, I think bringing unwanted children into the world is worse than abortion and has more lasting effects on society.
