Vice President
I know that the press is calling Obama and Clinton the "dream team" and she is really flattering Obama up, but having Hillary on the ballot would guarantee a McCain win. To my mind Hillary-hating is endemic to this country and if you thought Eagleton lost the election for McGovern or Stockdale acting clueless hurt Perot, it would be nothing compared to the concentration on Hillary's dumb statements that are all on tape. I wish he would pick Richardson because they are closest in philosophy (although the best choice would be Kucinich because the anti-war vote is huge). The Clintons just have too much baggage and were never good for America. They certainly would not contribute to "change".
Obama seems to be abandoning his stand on diplomacy and is acting tough now. Sigh. The old boss same as the new boss.

It seems to always come down to the lesser of two evils. It's too bad Ralph doesn't have a chance.

Yes it most certainly does come down to the lesser of two evils but everything does in the end. I wager Obama is feverishly trying to polltest running mates to see who best fixes his 'hillary voter problem' and isn't clinton.

Are you really surprised? Do you think he would have gotten this far if he wasn't, in some way, part of the good old boy network?

Good prediction - I hadn't considered the woman possibility. Barack is going to have a rough time no matter who he chooses - I think it would have been easier going for Clinton. Hopefully Obama has a chance - but I don't have a lot of hope left for this political system.
