    The first part, of course, explains why Bush kisses King Abdullah so fervently every time they meet; the second part clarifies Bush's war, the US relationship with Israel, etc, etc. Oh, for more of these filthy liberals!

    Actually, I think his name is Chalmers Johnson. I have read 'the sorrows of empire' and 'nemesis'. Both are highly recommended. He is as hard-hitting as chomsky but a much better writer. His detailed analysis of the 800 military bases that we have occupying the foreign soil of 130 countries is really an eye-opener.
