George Best was arguably the best football (soccer) player of all time. Unfortunately he suffered from one of the most diabolical and debilitating diseases on the face of this earth - alcoholism. It wasn't that he didn't want to stop drinking, he simply couldn't. It destroyed his career, his marriage, and his family. Finally it took his life.
